The conference was visited by 265 participants from 33 countries all over the world – Algeria, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Ghana, Hungary, India, Iran, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Pakistan, Poland, Republic of Belarus, Republic of Korea, Republic of South Africa, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Slovak Republic, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, United Kingdom and USA.
The number of contributions presented at the conference was 243 (94 oral and 149 poster presentations).
The scientific program was completed by two social events – Monday Welcome Dinner at Pyramida hotel with the traditional music band and cymbalo and Wednesday Gala dinner on the boat with cruise on the river Vltava. Walking sightseeing tour preceded the cruise and was an impressive experience for the participants.
The main scientific program of the conference was supported by exhibition of industrial partners, excursion to MEGA Company, Membrane Innovation Centre and to ŠKODA AUTO Museum and by students' competition. The awarded presentations were rewarded by European Membrane House, European Membrane Society and Czech Membrane Platform supported by Visegrad Fund.
