The Czech Membrane Platform in cooperation with the Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry of Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic organized a second annual MELPRO conference which was held in Prague from 18th to 21st May, 2014. This conference focused on the integrated and electromembrane processes since they represent a base to solve complex technological demands.

This specialized conference aimed at joining the fields of science and industry was visited by 120 participants from 16 countries with 40 lectures and 50 posters. The main scientific program of the conference was supported by other social events, students' competition, exhibition of industrial partners and excursion to MEGA Company and to Membrane Innovation Centre.

The MELPRO conference 2016 will have become a part of PERMEA - membrane science and technology conference of the Visegrad countries and will be held in the Czech Republic from 15th to 19th May, 2016.

The MELPRO conference’s 2016 goal is to present recent advances in the integrated and electromembrane processes involving at least one electromembrane step. The attention will be paid especially to the electromembrane separation as well as to presenting solutions of real problems and electromembrane applications soon to be realized.

We look forward to welcoming specialists and engineers searching for the solution for their technological problems, to scientists, students and participants interested in the latest development, applications and challenges in the field of integrated and electromembrane processes.

Further details will be published on www.melpro.cz.
