The EMS Summer School 2015 will take place at the Membrane Innovation Centre (MIC) in Stráž pod Ralskem and in the Liberec region approximately 100 km from Prague. Participants will be accommodated in Liberec (Hotel Pytloun and Travel Hotel), the largest city of the region, 35 km from Stráž pod Ralskem - the site of the MEGA company, focusing on membrane processes, primarily on the electromembrane processes, and the MemBrain company with its MIC.
Information on Arrival
Transport between Prague and Liberec (Sunday) and between Prague and Straz pod Ralskem (Monday):
We organize bus transport from Vaclav Havel Airport in Prague and from the Main Railway Station in Prague.
The bus from Vaclav Havel Airport will leave on Sunday 21, 2015 at 5 p.m. The meeting point will be in the Arrival hall of Terminal 2, where will be a person with a sign of Summer School awaiting the participants. The person will be waiting there from 4:30 p.m. and will accompany the group to the bus, which leaves the airport car park at 5 p.m.
The bus from the airport on Monday 22 was cancelled due to no interest.
The bus from Prague Main Railway Station will leave on Sunday 21, 2015 at 5:45 p.m. The meeting point will be in front of the bookstore Luxor (see enclosed map), where will be a person with a sign of Summer School awaiting the participants. The person will be waiting there from 5:15 p.m. and will accompany the group to the bus, which leaves the railway station car park at 5:45 p.m.
The same meeting point (in front of the bookstore Luxor, see enclosed map) will be on the Railway Station on Monday 22, at 9:30 a.m. Pay attention to the change of departure time!!!
If time of departures does not suit you, you may also use public transport from Prague to Liberec. Buses Student Agency Company leave regularly from Prague Černy most (stop of Metro - underground line B)
Transport betwen Liberec (Hotel Pytloun and Hotel Travel) and Stráž pod Ralskem (Membrane Innovative centre):
The transport between Liberec and Stráž pod Ralskem will be provided by buses every day. The buses will leave from hotel Pytloun and Hotel Travel in Liberec at at 7:45 a.m. and arrive to Liberec after the official programme on Tuesday and Wednesday and after Gala dinners on Monday and Thursday. The expected times of arrivals are determined in the programme.
Registration:
Registration for the Summer School will be held in Pytloun Hotel Liberec (map) on June 21, it starts at 4 p.m. and finishes at 9 p.m. Welcome refreshment will be prepared for you in Pytloun Hotel Liberec with the beginning at 7 p.m. till 9 p.m.
Registration will continue on Monday in Pytloun Hotel Liberec from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and after that in MEGA Company - Membrane Innovative Centre in Straz pod Ralskem (map) from 11:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Opening ceremony starts at 1 p.m.
We would like to kindly ask you to prefer the registration in Liberec and to use the provided bus transport (from Liberec to Straz pod Ralskem) as the parking in Straz pod Ralskem is limited. Thank you for your understanding.
Accommodation:
All participants will be accommodated in the Pytloun Hotel Liberec or Pytloun Travel Hotel.
